As one of the more recent members of the family, and because he had a
comparatively short life when measured against some of his siblings, research on
Herbert has only just commenced. As his date of death was
established courtesy of the headstone inscription reproduced above, a search was
carried out of the register of deaths to find his entry. It was duly
found, and a copy will be obtained to confirm the cause and place of death.
