Rayner Peek had a short life, and nothing is known about it other that the
dates of his birth, christening and death. His christening took
place only two days after his birth, perhaps he was a sickly child and that was
the reason for such haste. The date of his death is not known, but
he was buried on the 17th August 1807, aged 11, in Kirkley.
